Why should I buy from LapJacks.com ?

Lapjacks are a fun and safe way to personalise your laptop computer, ipod or game device. They also help protect from small dents and scratches. They are easy to apply, easy to remove, hardwearing and re-usable with a smooth professional finish.

i)       How often do you release new designs ?

We promise to regularly update our design range and with your help and feedback provide a constantly evolving library of designs and images capturing that something special for everyone.

ii)     Are you planning new products for other devices ?

Yes, we have recently added ipods and the most popular games consoles. If your device is not listed then please contact us for a quote.

iii)   How long will it take to receive my order  ?
 
Our terms are 14 days for despatch. We expect most of our UK Lapjacks to be delivered to you well within that timescale however we cannot guarantee the postal service particularly outside the UK. ALL DESPATCHES ARE FROM THE UK.

iv)   How much is the delivery cost ?

A delivery charge will be added to each order depending on the postal  address :

 UK postal address         £2.95
 Europe                              £5.95 
 Rest of the World            £7.50

However if you spend £20 or more then the delivery charge is FREE.

Please note as a signature is required on delivery we cannot ship to PO Box addresses.

v)     What are Customised LapJacks ?

Customised Lapjacks are your own picture images you can upload making your notebook personal again.

 Ideally your picture should be a file in landscape format - 45cm x 30cm @ 200dpi, that's approximately 25mb. At the absolute minimum we would recommend a file with 2000 pixels along the horizontal, but this should ideally be 3600 pixels. Feel free to email us if you have something you are unsure about.

Please be aware our design team scrutinise all custom requests for legal content and technical feasibility. Any images or content subject to copyright laws or that are deemed inappropriate will be rejected.
 
 
vi)   How do I measure my laptop ?
 
If your laptop is not included in the drop down list you can give us the dimensions in millimetres and we'll cut to that exact size. Please note that it is best to measure the laptop lid yourself. The manufacturers dimensions are the size of the laptop as opposed to the area you would want your Lapjack on. The maximum size that we will produce is 400mm X 300mm, larger sizes are possible at additional cost, please email details for a quote.
